cotton yarn

In apparel business, everthing starts with yarn. Aegan Cotton , which is the second best quality cotton in the world. Yarn which defines the overall quality of all finished products is very important and organic cotton yarns with their natural origins, does their job very well.

Some Range!
Yarn count range from this cotton is between Ne 8 and Ne 50
Some can spin both knitting and weaving yarns. Also according to the crop it is sometimes possible to spin Ne 60's as well.


It is possible to make combed, carded and openend yarns. For openends there is minimum of 8000 kg's. Just like conventional cotton, organic cotton yarns are also tested in Uster Testers and this values can be given upon request.

The following things can be offered additionally

A. Double or tripled yarns (like Ne 30-2 , Ne 40-3)
B. Heather yarns :This is possible from various colours.. For heather yarns there is a minimum of 1,5 tons though.
C. Colour grown yarns: Agaim it i posible from various % blends with normal raw cotton.
D. Some also do dyed yarns as well. Minimums for this is 150 kg/colour.


Packing
All cottons yarns are packed in cartons. One yarn cone is around 2,2 kg. (This may change according to the Yarn Count). In one box, we can put around 18 cones. So one box is around 39,6 kg. During packing they put stickers with your logo and company name on it inside the cones. For packing also palletizing is possible

For shipments;
In one 20 FT container we can put around 6,550 kg of yarns.
In one 40 FT container we can put around 14,000 kg of yarns.
In one 40 FT Hc container we can put 17,000 kg of yarns.

Yarns are invoiced upon net weights. There are regular vessels sailing from Izmir every week to all continents. Truck shipments to Europe is also possible. Currently yarns is exported to all 6 continents.

Leadtiems
Shipment is around 2-3 weeks after official P.O. . Shipment for dyed yarns is 3-4 weeks after colour approval and official P.O. Of course not to mention again all processes are fully certified.
